     New Member Sessions Planned

  • Have you recently moved to the area?

  • Are you curious about what membership means?

We would be happy to answer any and all of your questions at the next New Member Series.

Session Two will be held on Sunday, November 23 at noon, also in the Sanctuary Hall.  During our hour and a half we will share a light lunch, conversation, and then we will have an opportunity to hear from current St. Mark's members about their area of ministry.

New members will be received on Sunday, December 7, at the 9:00 a.m. worship service.

NOVEMBER 22nd and 23rd!

If you have a 2nd grade student (or an older student who has not yet received a Bible), be sure to attend one of the services the weekend of November 22nd and 23rd.

Following announcements at the 5:30 p.m. Saturday and 9:00 a.m. Sunday services, the Pastors will invite students and their parents to the front of the Sanctuary for a blessing and an official presentation of Bibles from parents to students. As you come forward with your student, please take one of the Bibles from the small stands near the steps on either side of the altar. During the 10:30 a.m. service, parents and children will be invited forward during the Children's Message to receive their Bibles.

If your child plans on returning to Sunday School after 9:00 a.m., we will have a Sunday School representative waiting in the Narthex to escort the children to their classes. The 10:30 a.m. children will continue with their program as usual following the Children's Message.

A SEASON OF HOPE

Christmas Concert and Dinner

December 14th - 3:30 p.m.

All are invited to attend St. Mark's Twelfth Annual Christmas Concert followed by a "Potluck-by-Design" fellowship dinner on Sunday, December 14th.

The concert starts at 3:30 p.m. and will feature favorite Christmas anthems from St. Mark's talented music ministry.  All youth and adults will participate in sharing their festive and beautiful Christmas music.  This is a "must hear" event as you revel in the beautiful and glorious sounds.
