CONGREGATIONAL MEETING AND LUNCHEON

St. Mark's invites all confirmed, communing and contributing members to attend the 2011 Annual Meeting.  Children are welcome to join us for lunch first and then move on to the child care area as the adults continue with the business meeting.

The agenda includes:  Distribution of the Annual Report; "Year in Review" Slide Show of 2011; Election of the New Church Council; Approval of the 2012 Budget

In Lutheran tradition, these meetings are a very important way for our members to become more aware of the work of the church and more deeply involved in the decision-making process.  All members are encouraged to attend this event.

COUNCIL OPENINGS

For 2012, there will be 4 positions open. 

Treasurer - The Treasurer serves as the custodian of the funds of the Congregation.  The Treasurer is responsible for oversight of all financial disbursements of the congregation in accordance with the decisions of the Congregation or the Congregation Council.  The Treasurer shall oversee the presentation of regular financial reports to the Congregation and the Congregation Council.  Position presently held by Preston Runyan.

One Council Position for a Two-Year Term - Replacing Norm Kendrick.

Two Council Positions for Three-Year Terms - Replacing Amy Mabrey; Jim Frank running for re-election.
