Faith and Daily Life...
Faith and Daily Life (FDL) meets on Wednesday evenings from 5:10 until 7:30 p.m. and is open to children and youth from grade 1 through high school. Our 1st through 5th Graders use the "Spark" curriculum from Augsburg Fortress. "Spark" is a faith formation program that gets children ages 3 through grade 5 excited about God's Word. "Spark" lessons bring to life 150 stories from the Old and New Testament through games, art, music, and science to accommodate all the different ways kids learn. And Spark's online resources--activity ideas, preparation videos, and more--make lesson planning fun and easy for teachers and students alike!
Integrated into the FDL program for Middle School Youth (grades 6-8) is PREPARATION FOR CONFIRMATION which is the formal rite for admission into adult membership. Our students learn from Here We Stand, the groundbreaking curriculum that revolutionized Lutheran confirmation. Here We Stand is a comprehensive program that helps effectively prepare students for Lutheran confirmation.
High School Youth Group discusses various topics from a variety of curriculum and current events.
There is a fee for Wednesday Night Programs which covers the cost of meals and supplies. Parents are asked to partner with the leadership group by assisting at least 2 times per year.
You may register for FDL and Confirmation in the Narthex, or you may Register Online.
