SCHOLASTIC BOOK FAIR

AT C.D.C:  December 12 - 16 from 9 am to 5 pm

AT ST. MARK'S CHURCH:  December 17 & 18 following all worship services

Books make excellent Christmas gifts for the children in your life!  Enjoy the convenience of shopping weekdays at the Child Development Center, or following worship at St. Mark's Lutheran Church. 

The Book Fair will have a variety of paperback and hardback children's books including Christmas books, interactive books, beginning reader books, read aloud books, and chapter books for ages 2 to 12.  Cash and checks accepted.  Please check it out and help support St. Mark's Child Development Center!

Thank you for your interest in the St. Mark's Child Development Center.  We provide a loving and nurturing environment for children to grow and develop.  St. Mark's began serving families with young children in 1992, providing day care in the Sunday School classrooms of St. Mark's Lutheran Church.  The program soon outgrew the church, so the congregation built a new building, our existing site, in 1999.

Our curriculum is based on a developmental play approach.  Our program focuses on the total development of the child:  physical, intellectual, social, emotional and spiritual.  It is  a stimulating learning environment that prepares children for school and the bigger world.

Our trained and experienced teachers are nurturing, and they enjoy getting to know each child's personality and meeting his or her individual needs.  Parents can feel confident that their children are safely and lovingly cared for during their stay at St. Mark's.

A not-for-profit corporation, we are committed to your child's safety and are licensed by the Department of Children and Family Services (DCFS), an agency of the State of Illinois.  Our Child Care Center and Preschool are available to St. Mark's members and non-members alike.  As you are seeking to find a day care with preschool for your child, I hope you will consider St. Mark's.
