St. Mark's offers Sunday School during the 9:00 service and Children's Church during the 10:30 service.  Both programs are open to all children from 3 years of age through 5th grade and run from the beginning of September until the end of May.  We kick off each new Sunday School year with a Rally Day event in early September.  

For both the 9:00 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. programs, we will be using "Seasons of the Spirit".  The curriculum follows the lectionary, which means we all learn the same lesson each week and encourages conversation for the ride home from church each Sunday.  Our "rotational style" program allows the children to respond to the story through a variety of crafts, music and activities.

For the 9:00 a.m. program, parents should drop off students in their classrooms each week and pick up them up from their classrooms immediately following services.

The 10:30 a.m. program brings an opportunity for students to join their parents in the Sanctuary for our Children's Church Program.  Children join the congregation for the first few minutes of each service to share in the day's Bible readings, songs and a brief children's message.  Following the message, children exit the Sanctuary to classrooms to continue their Children's Church experience.  Parents can pick up children immediately following the service in Room 132.
